I’ve wanted a nice enameled cast iron dutch oven for years now. The rub is that they’re crazy expensive. Le Cruset is the gold standard. Made in France. Retailing for like $400. $00 for a pot! Cheaper knock offs are made in China and are notorious for chipping and cracking. After going to a movie with my friend Jill last weekend (I, Tonya), we stopped into the local Kitchen Kaboodle. They had Staub dutch ovens on sale for 75% off. Retails for $395, I paid $99. Staub is also old skool French made.
I had to Christen it with a French dish, so I made Tarragon Chicken.
